CoreBev Celebrates One Year of Connecticut Distilling with the Launch of Barrel-Aged Apple Cinnamon Drops


WATERBURY, Conn. — October 2025 — CoreBev, a leading Connecticut-based beverage manufacturer specializing in premium spirits and ready-to-drink cocktails, is proud to announce the release of Barrel-Aged Apple Cinnamon Drops, a limited-edition spirit commemorating the first anniversary of Connecticut Distilling.

What began one year ago as a dream to create spirits that tell a story, crafted with heart, patience, and precision, has evolved into a thriving local distillery and tasting destination. The anniversary release marks a milestone for both the brand and the growing community that has supported it.

 

A New Chapter in Craft Innovation

 

Barrel-Aged Apple Cinnamon Drops was born from experimentation and a deep respect for craft. The process began with Apple Cinnamon Drops, a crisp, aromatic spirit made by fermenting and distilling from IPA beers, which is a hallmark of Connecticut Distilling’s innovative approach. The blend of fresh apples and pure cinnamon sticks created a distinctive flavor profile that quickly became a fan favorite.

 

To celebrate the distillery’s first year, CoreBev decided to take the spirit one step further. Each batch of Apple Cinnamon Drops was rested in charred American oak barrels for two years, allowing the flavors to deepen and mature. Over time, the spirit developed notes of vanilla, caramel, and toasted spice, resulting in a layered profile that’s richer, rounder, and perfectly balanced.

 

A Celebration of Craft and Community

 

The new release debuted at Connecticut Distilling’s one-year anniversary party, where guests experienced the first pour of Barrel-Aged Apple Cinnamon Drops alongside two new fall-inspired cocktails:

 

Around The Campfire — a playful take on the Old Fashioned, featuring Barrel-Aged Apple Cinnamon Drops, marshmallow syrup, bitters, and a toasted marshmallow garnish.

Spired Orchard — a refreshing blend of Barrel-Aged Apple Cinnamon Drops and fresh apple cider.

 

Both cocktails are available exclusively inside the Connecticut Distilling Tasting Lounge, located at 2066 Thomaston Avenue, Waterbury, CT.

 

Connecticut-Made, From Grain to Glass

 

Everything about Drops is proudly Connecticut-made. CoreBev sources local ingredients, hand-blends every batch, and oversees each step of production in its Waterbury facility. “It’s not the fastest way to make our spirits,” said Stelios Stavrianos, Founder and CEO of CoreBev, “but it’s the right way. Every bottle is a reflection of the craft and community that built this distillery.”
